This project is not DEAD, it's simply not going to be going public. I wrote and am still sometimes writing this proxy for my own enjoyment. You guys can stop trying to apply or get access to it ok?
Re-wrote proxy functionality from the ground up. Improved efficiency and functionality adding some stuff such as distance and pathing calculations using shifting vs jumping which should in theory improve speed (although a properly written speedhack would be better... not bothered writing one though)
Added mine bot (ironically found a super gem the first time testing it lol!)
Added loot all functionality.
Test video using lowered speeds to ensure stability (not bothered dialing in for full efficiency, focusing on the functionality side vs efficiency atm)

Ok so I've been doing lots of tracking for this project in my main project tracker thread but I feel it's advanced to the point where it deserves its own thread.
Project Alchemy is a BASIC proxy written in C# for official tq servers. I've been writing it as
A: a learning project
B: a way to build up my knowledge and reference of current tq packets (so eventually I can make a fully custom, current tq path private server source)
C: a tool for botting/hacking on tq servers.
Currently it's still quite basic but I've gotten alot done in the last week or so including.
Auto hunt:

Basic Path system:
Basic character settings system (saves/loads character settings from sql db):
Basic Timestamp system (so that others can use the bot w/o having screwed up timestamps causing dc's)
And some other basic functionality. I'm still working on adding more features but we are ALMOST to the point where I will start to need more testers. This is where you, the player come in.
Once the gui system advances to a usable level so that you aren't doing everything through my commands (which I've been told are confusing lol), I will be allowing a LIMITED number of people on the proxy for LIMITED testing (it will not be 24/7, it will not be full featured... it will be for PRE BETA TESTING ONLY!)

For future reference. This thread will be used for UPDATES on the proxy, the other thread will simply be logging my own projects (so my questions, problems and other stuff).

Note: The crashing was caused by too many character updates being sent to the player. That's long been fixed now.

July 2:
Path System Tested: Working, needs improvement. 5 Basic paths added for testing
Time Stamp Fixed: Others can now bot using the proxy without dcing due to invalid packet time stamps
Character Settings: Character settings are now saved on dc and loaded on login. NOTE: I'll change this so that if you dc during xp mode it won't screw around with the speed settings. Simple fix though.
Improved Mob/item Add/remove:
If the character goes out of range of an item or monster, it is removed from the local mob/item dictionary.
July 1:
Re-wrote Botting code: Much better handling of bot actions
Handled more Character update packets: XP mode auto ends when the xp status time drops below 2. Should mean xp/cyclone ending will not cause you to still hunt super fast and dc
Auto loot improved: Better adding/removing of ground items.
