1. socket items mean you can put gems in them, which can help you get exp faster or have more attk power. Ref-Super items make the attk/dodge/defense of an item better.
2. The npc is is in market, in front of the first row of sellers.
3. Technically, you wont be any stronger, but your weap prof wont lvl. Your skills will be elementary and it will suck to lvl.
4. It depends how much money or what you like for a weapon. Blade lvls fast and is strong, club is very good for lvling, and sword is an ok strength, with the skill pheonix which is very strong.
