Character secondary job and luck

Something about these threads on socket tricks made me think. And now that I think about it I have started to believe that when a character is created there is a secret roll of say a second job and then a second roll for character luck within that job.
Example: Lets say I make an archer. The server, during the registering of character name and such, sets my new archers secondary job at mining. The rolls that the archer will have 70% good luck at mining. I could take that archer out and kill monsters hunting for items but my drops will be average at best. Now if I take that character into a mine and start mining I would gain several gems of all qualities.

My reasoning to this is that I have tried it on several servers. I have an archer on one server that is an excellent hunter. I have found numerous mets, dbs, elites, and supers with that archer. At the sametime I have tried to mine and met spam with the archer. Mining and met spamming was a waste of time. So I would say that the archers seconday job is a hunter. Now on another server I have another archer. He sucks at hunting, but he is a decent miner. And on other servers I have tried other characters for other things. I have found some characters better at mining than other things.

I have never believe in this coordinates and times for sockets. I have only ever made 1 socket and that was in a weapon I was just playing around with. I think your sockets are based on that character luck mostly and a forced socket time.

Anyways I only made this on here to voice my opinion and to give my advice to things I have tested for about a year. Do what you want with it because I prolly will not post again for quite sometime.

i think ur right because my archer is good at mining and bad at hunting, but now he he is a sucky miner and still a sucky hunter, i get a +1 about every 2000 kills, and it ****** me off...lol

except, your luck isnt decided when you make your char, but when ya buy dbs. it goes up each time ya buy some! lol

Ur luck goes down when u buy dbs, they want you to buy more O.o

lol u dont set it its not even real its just a theory brought up ... but i think its preety safe to say its not true ... there is no such thing
