Ok, i know this has been a huge topic, well from what i seen, i was messing around wit h the met dove files, and i couldnt get any thing to work, so i wanted to know if there was some way u can change color? or maybe the who appreance of the dove? if anyone can help me change it some way id appreate it.

i think you cant, because it is server sided now.

Hmmm client sided eh? Maybe I'll try and figure out a way to change their color or something. (May take me a while, im an Uber noob programmer)
Edit: I'm starting to think it is possible, I mean you can change armour colors, so this could work...

okie just make a condition like, if metdove is server sided then we can change the color of fake metdoves ryte? does it make sence for us to work on it?

You can change monsters' skins as  has. I believe they are in the armor.ini file. Dunno how to find them though...

Yes lol. I looked into it and I cannot figure out how to do it other than trial and error. Guess you could remove 1/2 the armor.ini and then find a pheasant, if it crashes, put that half back in and cut it in half... etc. I'm too lazy to do it cause I don't hunt met doves.

your thick... he jsut said its Server sided, which it is.. you cant change colour or size... as you said. you can change armor colour BECAUSE thats client sided -.-

Your reference to he is confusing because there are two conflicting opinions and the last post for for client side yet you are for server side. Also note the think. Can anyone confirm if this is server or client? Wasn't there a monster.dat that changed the Treasure Birds (the non-met dropping Met Dove) smaller and the actual ones bigger? This leads me to believe since Met Doves have a separate entry in monster.dat, they would have a seperate entry in armor.ini. Anyone?

Server side... i don't know it's server side... it's just a mob with different HP, attack, and range attack !

So Ive been reading through the different theories on how people are attempting to make an edit to the monster file that controls the size of the meteor doves and that there are 2 entries for the metdove. 1 entry affects the doves the other doesn't... blah blah blah.. ok I have not seen anything like this yet but i am sure some of Epvp's programmers can make something like this if they think it would be possible... make a program that scans the values for the damage you do when you scatter and...

i'm level 82 with elite armor +1 and while fighting metdoves i found one of them that hited me with 650 damage and i only hited her with 70 damage.....was it the one that drops DBs?:confused:

Hey All :) ive been going to metzone lately and i always find the metdove with the mz map spawn locations and last 3 times i went they were never there. as ive noticed myself even the high percentage area isnt there either. i remember auto patching and when i logged on everything was fine like nothing changed and i went to mz to get some mets and thats when i noticed. someone try and help if u find metdove plz tell co-ords or show screenie of where on the map ty :)
