no-ip in private serber

how can i use my no-ip to conect with my private server?? i write in server.dat my no-ip domain, i put in line 200 of source code too, and in sql too, but when i press listen it show me 192.168.0.1.... how can i set it correctly??

no-ip is a host for ur ip dinamic, he change ur ip number for a name and update automatic in each chaged ip time, u use a name and no the number

The client as far as I'm aware cannot cope with hostnames in the server.dat, you must put a standard IP address. So either you gotta get onto your ISP and get a static IP rather than a dynamic one or setup some kind of automatic patch that updates server.dat everytime your IP changes.

Personally I would not recommend hosting any kind of server unless you have a static IP, it's just amateurish to use a dynamic one.

Yeah whose going to want to change there server.dat when they're connecting each time to connect to you :P
