.dds file editing

I like to edit games , ect conquer, counter strike and more, but i cant figure what program to use to edit .dds files, i like photoshop so plz give me details if its possible to do there..

dont even try doing a search for it its conquers on data system the only way you can edit the dds files is if you have paintshop and you install a dds file plug in and thats only like for editing the color of like your wepons or armors

I think that's what he meant, colour of weapons and armours.

There is a guide about .dds editing in the guide/template section.

Heres a quote from peach on how to get the photoshop plugin and such.

*sigh* i just wish i hade photoshop now i can view the dds files but no photoshop maby i can download it off of limewire

You can go to Belarus and buy programs from the bazaar for $2.50 each. I tell ya, Premiere and CS rock. Heh heh.

for a free, legal .dds editor use the gimp with a .dds plug in

i spawns some of the effects... 115 bow looks good on 130 blades imo

install directx SDK
it have a program to convert dds to png, jpg, etc
and it convert again to dds the img.
