I'm sorry this happened to you, but this is why you only trust safe methods of payment. But also, I can guarantee you that 100% of all source code available for purchase right now are scams. Either some server that's been circulating like crazy and being restarted over and over again, or source code that doesn't belong to them. People should never purchase source code from this community.

More like if you going to attempt to purchase anything do your research about the person. This isn't the first time a person has been scammed or last.

Because there are no reputable sellers. If you don't know that all sold sources are basically scams, then you don't really know what to expect... unless you read my pinned post on private server community expectations, that is.
