erm there is one way. if u position ur character just right and use fast blade or somethin like that u will get loads more exp than usual.

stakes are just like lvl 15 monsters, immobile, and are green to any lvl 20 or above. so basically you cant edit their levels, its just like tryin to change the level of a pheasent
