Chat Log Files

Hi,

i want to read the chat log offline. Does anybody have the decrypt algorithm or a program to decrypt the log?

since when did the chat logs get encrypted... as long as you have the check box to save chat selected you should be able to reread your history... at least I can.. o.O

I want to read it offline!! The Log Files are in a special Folder but the text is not readable so i have te encrypt that log.

i dunno, i just looked at them and they seem pretty messy :S

looks encrypted, however there is some text that isnt....who knows

hmmm... just found this searching for something else.
could be nice to read the chat log. maybe some search capabilities. don't know how to do it or I would do it right away.

Since it's stored under character names you could just take the chat history log from the char you want encrypted and copy and paste it to a char where you have access. Anyone tried that yet?

err, WHY u wanna read them offline?

**** too hard to look for something someone said 2-3 month ago on a char u don't have access anymore but... guess is the best solution

tryed that doesn't work. showing same as notepad. tryed even to change the name in the setup.ini. there must be a check for the name.

well changing the name wouldn't do anything as the text within it would be encrypted

I really want this. and I'll get it to work. but knowing absolutely nothing about decription doesn't help. also not at top of the list. any help is welcome tho
