Socket method

Ok I remember there was a reply or a topic to some thread where the guy said you can make socs in non-weapons (he used neckys) when you and your friend sit in TC at low ping spot and with like 20 mets each and start grading the lvl 7 neckys bought from npc (1st,2nd...10th,1st again,....10th) and that somewhere along the way one of you will get a soc in it...
Wanted to know if this still works and if it works at all...
Also if it does what amount of people doing this at the same time is best?

P.S. This thing is probably based on a theory in one of the forums that the more people doing the same thing the better the results-->so if two people are killing the same thing at the same time in the same screen or whatever there is overally a higher chance of getting good stuff...

Hmm...Seriously, your the one that read the thread, so why are you asking US how to do it? Besides this has been discussed over 70 times already and it is still inconclusive whether anyone has any idea whether sockets are luck or not.

There is no great way to socket items so far, just keep gathering infomation before you post another thread about socketing.

sometime i spamm 400+ mets in and got nothing. . but sometime i get a soc with only 10-40mets.

someone should test on private server with alot of db / mets and see how many mets u need to spam to get a soc.

I got a sock on my lvl 22-32 elite trojan armor while upgrading my miner gear,then bam,in only 1 met it got socketed. Sold it for 60kk. ^^
