Help making my own itemtype

I have got his itemtype editor but no readme was included and when I searched for the post with instructions, I couldn't come up with any. I experimented with his program and hit rename tokens but that didn't do anything but screw up the itemtype even more. Any help here, thanks!

I just made a new folder somewhere, put the program in it and a copy of itemtype.dat in the same folder. Opened program and set the path to the same folder. Basically you click load file, then there's that column on the right where you can hit buttons like rename quality items and tokens (just press button and wait, autosaved). When you're done, close program and copy edited one and paste in ini folder.

Wow, what a little difference putting the program and the original itemtype makes. I had them in separate folders and every time I hit rename tokens it brought the file size down 300kb's and screwed up Conquer. Well, thanks for a pretty easy help!

i have found some old progrs dunno who make it. but ill try it first if it work and ill give u if it work.

man it only work on items not with tokens, i think u need the thing that read tokens.

I've already mentioned it before. I made a mistake in the code, I put item_file = App.Path & "\itemtype.dat", where it should've been item_file = txtfilename.text. You can edit the source manually and recompile, or just stick the exe into your ini folder where the itemtype.dat is.
