lol, i dont think that there s to unbound items, and u cant unbound items with dbs anymore >.>, but good thing u can soc ur bound tails with the bound items

Was on my Ally and noticed when I called my unbound pet from hot bar it would give me the "are you sure" message. Played a while, did an instance, left the instance and called again from hotbar and it gave me the same message. Tested it several more times and sure enough, every time after entering and leaving an instance it was unbound. Could only get this to work from the hotbar though.
