heres my two cents. u need three slots to open a moonbox no matter what, ive tried thats that. but heres an idea for thought...since everything is bassed on time in conquer (there are two ways to calculate time, guild beast spawns at a specific server time and the db mob spawns at a secific time after server maintence) i thought id count the ammount of ghosts on the life tactic...sure nuff theres is 24. so im sure that at certian hours, bassed on the number of ghosts id guese server time, certian ghosts give sockets/elites and im sure it changes patch by patch.

when my troj was a noob (lvl 97, I was JUST able to do MoonBox with him..), I went in and got 3 boxes, all from different ghosts. My theory was that a certain ghost would always give elites/socs...but, unfortunatly, the best i've gotten from mb'ing is still 3 mets. -.-'

^ similar to my theory that i had, 90% of the ghosts would give you ****** items such as 3 mets, or a ref and a met, but the other 10% of the ghosts would be able to give elites and sockets. tried to record what was gotten from each ghosts, but it didnt work

well this is vry good,mabey i shod ask a frend to help,if u allways get 3 items from MB the chanse is preety big,nice again +1 karma for the idea

This is old, I investigated it a while ago.
Even if you could remove the notification that you need three slots, I'm quite sure that it checks for the three slots before the prize is actually calculated serverside.

if 57000 exp = 1 boss

Moonbox Identification idea.

After reading through the itemtype.dat using the datcryptor i noticed that the moonbox is in there 51 times. My thought was each moonbox drops a specific reward and theres a total of 51. Why not give each Moonbox a Numerical Value (example for those who can't figure out that. Moonbox1, Moonbox2 and so forth.) and then see if when you open it you get a specific Reward. Thats if its Client Sided at all. This would help get the Moonboxes with good rewards to keep to whoever got it then sell off...

Okay, well, I will start out with being clear on this message. "Everything in the game seems to do with percentage". What I mean by this is, every monster you kill, there is a percentage that it will drop a Meteor, Dragonball, ref-Super item. (Depending on if the Monster was programmed to drop certain items or not) This also apply's to upgrading, there is X amount of chance that the item will upgrade, or X amount of chance that an item will socket. ok... here goes.
the other daay i was in BI socketing my bow. and i read wat the man daid.
he said "plz put the item you want to socket into your right hand."
so i was thinking to myself. wat if it was possible to equip things to ur right hand besides weapons.
if you could put your robe in ur right hand you would be able to go t BI and take a db and socket it.
now... if only someone could make a way to equipanything you want into right hand. there has got to be a way.
another possible...
