Socket-trick

i got my socket in my elite necky on a monday at 9:40 server time when metting it in tc from lvl 37 to 45. b4 i started metting it i failed a DB trying to super it

Edit: don't know if failing a db then metting realy helps

yes, i saw person postin forums that he did DB a +1 necky found in lab, bam socket...

maby..just maby, those are items wich should be db'd or metd

DannY from Ruby/Zues a.k.a Zolt... My luck with 2soc items has to be with elite items, but that doesnt mean to say elite items have more chance to gain a 2nd socket, as for ultimatedestroyer says his luck was with uniqs... but here is what iv gotten:

2soc earings 57-67 super (markt)

2soc troj armor lvl 100 uniq-elite (then elite-super i got 2nd soc)

(2x) 2soc necky 1 elite 82-97 in markt, 37-45 in tc elite

2soc bag uniq-elite in tc lvl 45

2soc dex ring elite lvl 63-73 in tc

2soc archer coat uniq-elite markt lvl 97

(4x) 2soc boots, belive it or not all elite also, cant remember the lvls but all lowish lvl 100 or less in tc

2soc attk ring tc 100-110 super

2soc cap elite lvl 52-67 in markt

A Total of 13 2soc items over the past 2 years

Theres no time trick, no co-ord trick, no quality trick, no + trick THERES NO TRICK.

Just spam mets at random times you will get socks, I use bought normal items cause they are readily available. DONT spam 500 mets in 1 go cause its just stupid, do 100-200 then wait a bit then do another 100-200, you WILL get a socket eventually.

I have made 4 sockets in under 100 mets in less than 5 mins

All my 2 socks havee been made on DB quality to ELITE or metting ELITE items in TC, but again Quality is rubbish, RANDOM SPAMMING FTW

Sockets are made random, but with the right timing you could make many sockets each day. It's a timezone of 40 minutes. This is allso what I've heard. It was a friend who sayd he changed conquer-files with hexeditor and some other programs to get sockets easier. Which other programs I have no idea. Is that true too?


I hope the replies will help people to make sockets. All this above is just what I've heard and don't have to be true. Maybe someone here knows how to make sockets and wanna share the "trick"?

hex editing is bullshit, normal items dont make a dif, they are just easyer to met up without fail and ive heard the 40 mintute this is true, but no one gets a socket Every 40 mins, just better to spam like 100, then about 40 mins and then spam some more

well it seems that when the items is uni you can make socs in it better, and ive heard that items from mbs, like uni items have a better chance of being socketed then items found off a drop

I've made 3-sockets just recently (I've made more in the past but not with this method) by using MB's. I've bought MB's at around 25 minutes after the hour. Opened them all roughly 5 seconds apart********(look below) about a minute after I bought them, if I get an elite, I put that in the wh and I take the rest of the mets and ref's/uni's, and then two metscrolls, then I go to TC.

Once I'm there, I start upping them. I do one met per item, then do the whole process again. All 3 times, I made the socket at exactly XX:30. This is for first sockets. ***NOTE***: I ALWAYS start with the mets I get from the MB's first to up. And usually after about the 3rd or 4th lvl with the item, I get a socket.

I got a socket in a Unique Necklace LVL 52, Socket in a Ref Ring LVL 30, and socket in a Refined Boots LVL 40. I know this isn't a trick, but some of you might want to try it anyways. Good luck!

********* PS: My theory on MB's is that they are timed. EG: If you open the first MB and its a met and a ref, then if you open like 5 others all really quickly right after, they are all going to be met and a ref. I don't know if this has been mentioned, so basically when I'm actually looking to get decent stuff out of MB's, I try to delay opening each one. I open one, and if it's a ref or uni with a met, I wait like 5 minutes. I have gotten over 30 elites from MB's and only twice I think were from opening a lot all at the same time. Probably a lot of you already know this, but that's just my recent discovery :P
