Version check???

its easy, just update ur conquer folder to the latest patch..... in the main conquers folder there is a file named.. version.dat, copy that file to u'r desktop or somewhere and run an older patch to go back to the old patch and just replace the version.dat file with the one u copied, and done version check bypass.... dont know how long it will stay like this.. for all i know it has been patch already, but who know's try it and see...

well.... gues it dont work... use to work, but i'll try it later on... but i dont play CO much, so it will be a while before i do it.... i only play for guild wars

some patch like minors one eg,new server or sumthing
wen u use tt method can work but big ones cant!

A better way of doing this, Is just to upgrade to the patch you want, open the version.dat in notepad and change it to 4267 or whatever the newest patch is. But You will have a very buggy version :P

KitsunePaws, i tried that but u try and connect onto a server now with the incorrect version, even if the version.dat says it is the correct version, u will get booted straight away!

if sombody need i dont know but i hawe the conquer game version1.0 vitchout patching i think i hawe burn it to cd so if sombody need i can upload it to someones ftp

some friend of mine (from the game) gave me turkish forum and he told me there is a working tbot and that he using it now and its should work ...
now i dowloaded the rar and i did a virus check in virus total i want to give you all what virustotal found because i dont know if there is keylogger on it(i didnt use it yet because im not sure its a clean files):

OLD CO CILENT & Version Check Bypass

I am not talking about run Conquer.exe to bypass the autopatch.exe
Right now, if you simply run Conquer.exe, you will get a message box saying something like "please update your conquer". However, I heard there is a way to bypass the version check so that you can still use the old Conquer.exe to play.
Anybody has any idea?
