[REQUESTING] Mod Team & Mockup Artists

hi, alot of you are familiar with some of my work here, see signature.

I want to put together a team to refresh conquer to a modern state and include some of the better mods that have been released from both sirmagus and elitepvper communities. the games older content is clashing with the newer content and its time some things get changed.

for starters, the GUI or HUD is the main concern, im sure other items will happen along the way. It's broken down into two parts, the HP/MP area at the bottom left corner, and the blue themed windows. all the other elements will be easy to create once a REALLY REALLY nice mockup is created.

here is a link to the full size hud image above that you can use as a layer to put ontop of an existing screenshot from the game to get the proper sizes.


All we need to do is create these two elements to look "badass" that everyone will enjoy and by using that same theme throughout the rest of the game, the rest of the files are done, they just need created to match, easy. No crazy dragon background images, no crazy colors, no semi transparent skin. A real work of art. And due to font colors the windows CANNOT be any lighter than the blue color that is currently in use or you will not be able to see certain text.

A cheap and easy way out would be to theme the whole thing to look like steam, which is probably the most pleasant GUI around for pc gaming. Another route would be full blown anime style with sharp edges and colors, though i dont have much experience in watching or playing anime type games. I do however enjoy the HUD in street fighter x tekken. Watch on youtube if your interested. Theres also a possiblity of a hybrid of the two.

Another artist will be need to enhance existing ingame textures to look more "HD", but not all of them. Example, the older garments, some of the main monsters like birdmen. Basically take the existing texture and add lots of details but keeping it looking original.

Another artist will be needed for buttons, lots of buttons. The team will also need to decide on a font for EVERY button. Easy layering

Another artist will be needed for the skill buttons. They need to look like the original designs, but with different backgrounds and borders to match the new theme, easy layering.

Also there are some files that are hard to find that only a few people may have / know where they are. I NEED YOU ON THE TEAM ASAP.

A website and forum are ready for developers as well as 7 gigs of free storage for everyone to use for sending, receiving, linking, and hosting images. Please post comments or mockups here or get ahold of me through my website or the steam link at the top of ever webpage there.

Can I join? Once college slows down I'll have a lot of free time/design time to work on a project like this. I've been wanting to find something like this for a while anyways, I'll PM you my skype and at the least and we can talk some ideas/art styles. But I completely agree, the GUIs with dragons and crazy color schemes are getting old and painful to see tbh, something calming but sleek sounds like a nice change..
