Vps trick doesnt work anymore?

When did tq change the vps trick??Last year i used to do the vps trick with my high lvl war,nooby 6x and my water.Always got like 225vps everytime my nooby reached 10pct+ or maybe higher dunno anymore.But im sure that it was 225 vps !
Well, today i tried the vps trick again but this time I got like 50 vps and then only 4vps then 3vps and so on.
So dammit what happened in the last few months?

It gives VPs now not only every level up but also when it gets to certain percentages on your noobs. But it's only a few VPs like 3 - 15.

Omg?thats totallly retarded!So is there a fast way to get vps or do u have to do this lame-*** noob plvlin from lvl 1 to x?
