no bot can do anything for that now , coz simply they moved the check to the server side "" if the item ID you put contains Free then do nothing if not continue the progress "" , and any bot based on dealing with the client not the server , so no bot can do it anymore ,, the question is why TQ ddnt use that system from the beginning ,is it true that they partners or having money to give the bot maker a way to market their Bot ??

I hope there will be something to safe up money again in anyway.. i was waiting till saturday to have items unlocked, wich is to late now.. only got 6k progress out of it, a real bummer.
Well i hope it somehow can be fixed, or another great hack comes again, because this surely was something good, lol. .. .. .. just to bad i was to late with it, only because some greedy friend rather kept it for himself.

No confiscation. Socketed my sup +6 tower and Super +5 fan all with free items. still have them. But unfortunately it doesnt work any more

No sorry.
The check to see if your item is a (Free) item has been changed to server side.
So unless you hack the server, then no.

_fobos_ had a great multiclient out where u could use free items to soc talismans..this did work as i soc'd my own usen it..does anyone else know how he did it?? as now he has left due to personal reasons and his thread has been closed..it'd be great to beable to do this again :handsdown:

I've overheard a rumor on the official CO forums, by editing your conquer.exe (i believe it was this file) you could compose (Free) items with your talismans to open the soc slots. Now I've pmed the person I saw posting it but he/she wouldn't tell me why, I could understand that ofcourse. But here, were all the hackers are up, it shouldn't be such a taboo. So does anyone know what to edit so I can compose my (Free) items? :o
