Ban 1 day bug?

So like in topic i hear alot of people getting banned for one day , i saw it on co forums and in game alot people broadcast it wtf?

Ye and i go dc'ed i try to relogin but *** You have been banned for using illegal bots for one day (998) wtf? i never had a bot lol ... Did you guys/girls had same problem?

i didnt even bot and i got a 1 day ban....i guess thats because tq is implementing their new anti bot ****....but ofcourse tq digital never heard of that step called TESTING in the development process....they just rush in stupid stuff that causes such stupidity as me getting banned for 1 day

yeah, happened to me too a few times. TQ is desperately trying to do something about bots so they have this bot check system in place and if you lag when you are scanned you get banned for 24hours.
Just go to the helpdesk page, get ****** off for like 2-3 hours trying to get in contact with a GM, then when he finally picks up tell him to go **** himself.

The new anti-bot system checks for more client edits, too. If you modified any file in any way, you're likely to get a one-day ban sooner or later.

Actually, their anti-bot thing does (or will soon, according to HD) scan files when the client isn't running. Could be complete bullshit, though, as TQ is generally full of ****.

in fact, i know a few people who, after a tq update, had some missing files from the conquer folder and they got botjailed for it..
so:
tq updates, forgets to put in files, then checks for the files and doesn`t find them, and borjails the poor ****. Now that was a classic.

Also the botchecker can be blocked with COMODO Firewall with no issues. I don`t trust some chinese duded with my information anyway.

When they first released the botcheck system, a lot of my characters were botjailed simply for being in TG for 24h straight. They didn't check if the map was TG, and thus assumed it was a bot. They actually had to do a global get-out-of-jail-free patch for this, and sadly, some people weren't even able to get out even with the patch. Around that time is when I left Conquer and decided to work with private servers instead, and I don't regret it in the least bit. The number of screwups that have happened since I left just makes me laugh..

A main on CO? Me neither. Just random chars with fairly good gears that I let my brother use, since I don't intend on playing much at all.
