Actually, you don't have to stand on the exact coordinates of the item, it's just the "pick-up packet" that has to contain the exact coordinates, you can still send a "pick-up" coordinate without standing on the exact coordinate

That's what autoloot does, isn't it? It doesn't "jump" on top of the items first or anything, it just sends a "pick-up packet" containing the coordinate of the item on the ground, which kinda "teleports" you on top of the item

Nope, autoloot jumps to the co-ord the item is on, and in some proxies will then jump back to the original location.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, most proxies use the 'teleport' packet clientside in order to refresh your screen, that's why it appears to teleport.
