Keeping Archer's cyclone alive?

I apologize if this has been asked before but I did a quick search and found nothing.

Archers with cylone. sometimes you can go to bird island or where ever and see one with about 10,000 in one cyclone. Many people tell you not to kill more than 70-85 or so because it will drop you somewhere around 300 kills. Obviously with the above reference this is not true.

Would someone who knows how to do this correctly be willing to share the knowledge? One of the mods for the CO board said something about waiting till your timer was at about 25% and I tried that a few times but no luck. I may have misunderstood her directions or just not timed it right, I don't know.

I found that when you get to 70 kills, if you stop and wait for cyclone you will not lose it unless you stop killing afterwords. When i got 100 kills before hitting cyclone i only got to 133.

I generally go to anywhere between 75 and 89, any higher and your xp skill will eventually stop, after getting to this number you stop, wait for the next skill and your counter continues on...same with sm :/

As I stated in my post, there is another way. You can not tell me that a plvling archer honestly kills 70 birdmen then waits for cyclone to kick again before continuing on. With these plvling archers, I have seen some with 10k+ kills and they're not stopping.

Even in a place like AC second map, this method mentioned about stopping after 70 kills is so boring it's not funny. 6 jumps and scatters then sit for 2 minutes. Sure it's one way of getting a lot of kills but there's a better way. Someone offered to teach me for 2 DB's but if I can get the info for free why pay?

ok, its simple, kill kill then WHEN the xp bar fulls up, stand still,dont hit anything, then cast it and carry on... had same problem to tro/warr....

yes i have a tro-arch, yes a have a tro and a warr, and yes i am sleepy

there is a catch in that if in 1 cyclone u make 150 kills in the 2 3 4 5 .... cyclone u ll need to kill duble more if u want to dont disapear cyclone so best is to make like 80 kills but u ll have in every cyclone after that make duble more kills that in 1 cyclone understand

true.... but i mean lets say you have a lvl 130 arch... at bi... you could get so many kills so fast it dosent matter.....

Clearly you don't understand, when you get to between 70 and 90 kills cyclone will come up again BEFORE the current one ends, so yes you have to stand around for 10-20 seconds generally and wait for the next one to pop up.

Depending where I am, i can easily get up to 150 kills before cyclone comes up again.

I will try these methods mentioned above and I thank everyone for their posts.

I read somewhere that if you over-overkilled, you wouldn't get this bug. This means that you have to kill +120 monsters in one KO, before the next XP skill starts.
It worked for me

I need to try that out! ... Yes your most likely over-killing, this seriously ****** me off when I made my trojan-archer a year ago, you can keep cyclone going by slowing down the frequency that you scatter, for example, scatter and clear your screen of monsters, then pick up all the items, check for +1 then go and scatter a few more times.

I think that the best way is just to kill all the way until 70-80 kills to be safe, then check your inventory, drop unwanted items and pick up other items off the floor until your cyclone comes up again.

Be patient, some people try to rush while having cyclone as an archer, where you should be the opposite, rush while you are on a warrior or trojan!

Any got tips on how to keep many clients not crash ? Im sure my comp can handle many clients but when i minize them the fps of the client drops to 7-10. I can have 2 clients running fine then if i open 3+ it starts getting disconnects all over the place 1gb ram radeon x850 amd athlon 3400+ 5mb cable (50-300) ping
