Itemtype is part of your client. If you mean an edited itemtype then you are welcome to look at the released ones or tools for making your own.
Keep in mind that having an edited itemtype will ONLY allow you to see the QUALITY of WEAPONS. It will not help you find better armors/rings/boots/etc nor will it let you see plus items. To do that is simply not possible with how the game is currently coded.
