Botjail for Multiclienting?

Yikes. I found this on the official forum:

They got with the new patch a SPY into conquer, so they will see what you doing with conquer, how be using etc.

I guess we know what the 350kbs packet that is sent back in forth.

a little note pops up now on your first login...

Your account was being used by another ip address. You may have been hacked (Ip blah.blah.blah..blah)

What if you are on a router? how is that going work for them? Or what if you are netcafe?

Wondering if there some type of Proxy blocker now.... if it displays your IP address... they are doing a check to see if you using 127.0.0.1 <---

i dont know how they check multiclient
but if i want to check multiclient, it is super easy
Method 1. do a process search, see how many Conquer.exe is opened (even u rename the 3rd client that u open, process does not lie...)
Method 2. hashes check play.exe, something similar to md5. even u change a single byte, the results will be different.
Method 3. IP check, thats definate. they have that since the beginning, because u are sending datas to server
Method 4. Unique ID when u login. example, every computer has a different ID (like computer name, user name, Comspec, OSversion). btw if u use same name in a network router, XP will show a error message that say u are duplicate. anyhow, i can create a unique ID by using those info, and when u login, possible that u are sending "EvanComputer - EvanUser - XPwin - EVANXXXMlogin - 123567890pw"

more likely they are doing harsh check (is that the reason why it takes forever to load CO!?)
i wont be surprise that CO knows who / who not using more than 2 clients
but are they willing to spend time to kick kick kick people

if u really want to argue, dont say u are in a netcafe or something easy to check like that
ehm, how about "my computer is using Multi-user program that allows me to split into few separate monitors, keyboard, mouse..because i have brothers and sisters"

btw, no notes pop up for me that are saying the char has been logged from a different IP ...

On the window after log in..
Account has been logged in at xyz address the account might be hacked..

try this
Load up a noob account (screen 1)
the load up the same noob (screen 2)

check the first screen after you log in.. you'll see it..

I have seen this before. When someone else logs on my char without knowing that I'm already logged on, it gives me that message.

Well, from my understanding that's illegal and the situation they are in with certain p-servers that would be a bad move

Your 1st thought/idea is a bit.. uh? Anyways.. the IP thing should continuously pop up as long as your IP changes because when you log in the server is now recording what IP you log in from and if it doesn't match from my understanding it'll pop up
Well your 2nd thought/idea is almost correct. The conquer.exe disables the use of 127.0.0.1 not so much of a proxy blocker itself, but yeah.
