I noticed that there is a large sum of people who don't understand what a DLL error is, or how to fix it. So here is a Step by Step Tutorial on how to fix those unwanted errors.

Here are a few examples of how a DLL error might show up:

- D3dx9_43.DLL Not Found
- The file d3dx9_43.dll is missing
- File d3dx9_43.dll not found
- D3dx9_43.dll not found. Reinstalling might help fix this.

Obviously all of these examples have the same .dll file name, however, these messages can go for other types such as msvcp100's or msvcr100's. Just make sure you know what .dll file the error message brings up so you can find it. If you see a message in any variation of the previous examples, continue reading for instructions on fixing your issue.



You need to download the file from the internet, but not just any site. There are many sites out there purposly just to mess up your computer with malware and viruses.

STEP 1.

Just type the DLL file name into Google (for example: d3dx9_43.dll) and the first result is where you go. (the web site address is: www.dll-files.com)


STEP 2.

Scroll down the page and you will see two boxed areas, one for Premium Install and one for Free Download. Click the link in the Free Download (example of the link: Go to the download page for D3DX9_43.dll). A window will pop up and you click the link that says Download "name of the DLL" right at the top. (example of the link: Download d3dx9_43.dll)


STEP 3.

This will download a .zip file, which means you will need some type of extracting software. I am assuming that since you are hacking, you have the software as most hacks need to be extracted. Otherwise, search google for a free or relatively cheap extracting software. I use WinRAR.


STEP 4.

Once you have the .dll file extracted, copy it directly into your Combat Arms folder.
