Question about personal info (got scammed)

So let me start this straight.

Some guy wanted to buy my account and I had a file with my details on my background. So we went for teamview because I wanted to show him my account and he just downloaded the files.

Now I wanted to password recovery and its not working?!

Can somebody explain me how he did that? And how I can get my account back?
