PORTED TO C#! NO MORE ERRORS!
The second version of my tapper which is WinHTTP friendly and guaranteed to be faster and more efficient than any other tapper.
It gives me something about an exception.
Run it as an administrator.
WHY IT D/C ME WITH CONNECTION TO SERVER FAIL?
You have to reconnect. It's disconnecting you because you AREN'T CONNECTED TO THE SERVER WHEN YOU TAP.
WinHTTP?
As I tested other tappers, I noticed that none which disabled the DHCP service seemed to work for me because there was another service dependant on it which the programmers didn't account for.
Faster? More efficient? How?
Instead of using a crummy language like Visual Basic, I used C++. This already means an increase in speed, but to add to that, I am directly stopping the service instead of invoking SYSTEM to invoke CMD to invoke NET.
Key features:
- Improved speed
- Improved saftey
- Smaller memory impact
- Faster code
- Smaller filesize
- Visual representation of progress
- Optional beeping when you don't manually press the button.
How to use:
Simply open the tapper and press the button to connect/disconnect.
To use hotkeys, you can either use the default hotkey of F1 or select from the dropdown list provided. This list has all the F* keys and all the NUMPAD numbers.
To use the auto reconnect, simply choose how long you want to wait before reconnecting and tick the box.
I also added the option to disable the beeps by launching the program with the /nobeep parameter. [If you don't want it to beep, create a shortcut and add "/nobeep" to the end.]
