CA: Classic REZ Mod Bypass w/ Rez Chams

Recently, a rez modding bypass was found with credits due to dMorphX of **** aka Morpheuz of LithArchive. As to credit myself (since I have a different username here than elsewhere), I'm supercarz1991 of **** and TechX elsewhere, so you don't think I'm leaching my own content for the rez chams. I'm not releasing the tool here to automate it, as it has advertisements in it and i think that's against the rules here, but I'll post a tutorial to do it yourself.

What You Need
- Hex Editor
- CA: Classic up to date
- Ability to read

Pre-Tutorial - Why This Works
For this tutorial, we'll use RS.rez for Rez Chams to make this work, although this works for all rez files. The reason this works is largely due to Valofe being absolutely stupid with their releases and development of CA_Classic. Engine.exe isn't packed like it was from NEXON. Engine loads the REZ Files, but if you change where the game looks for those rez files, it'll load those instead. Much like other classic lithtech games launching with a launchcmds.txt.

tutorial

1.) Get your hex editor open, personally I use HxD
2.) Open Engine.exe in the Hex Editor
3.) In the hex editor, search Game\RS.rez
4.) Every instance of Game\RS.rez change to Mods\RS.rez
5.) Save your Engine.exe as PatchedEngine.exe
6.) Create a batch file and paste the following code in it and save it

@ECHO OFF
PatchedEngine.exe -windowTitle "Combat Arms"

7.) In your CA_Classic installation folder from Valofe, create a new folder called Mods
8.) In that folder, place a modified REZ Cham rez named RS.rez (I'll provide one in attachments)
9.) Launch the game with your batch file and you're good to go!

Hi, I open the game and I get a sign that says, "We recommend reinstalling the client again"

Did I do something wrong or just do not it work?
