For those who wants to know in which "way" it changes it.

It rewrites your Registry-Key "HwProfileGuid" in path:
"Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControl Set\Control\IDConfigDB\Hardware Profiles\0001"

Is there any popular game which uses this location to verify your HWID?

I guess wolfteam is the only game which use is and people writing ****** "hwid" changer for it when you can just change it in the registry.
