Discord Media Loader is a small tool for downloading all attachments of Discord servers.

Functionality

• Log into your discord account and gathering information about servers (guilds) and their channels
• Downloading attachments
  • You can optionally specify a date. Only newer messages will be scanned
  • You can specify a destination path
  • You can specify amount of parallel workers
  • You can skip existing for speeding up repeated scans (messages still must be scanned)

How to use
First things first: Do not use if you have MFA enabled. This may result in a ban of your discord account as multi factor authentication is not supported but the application still will attempt to access your account.

Otherwise you may just do the following steps:

1. Login
2. Select a guild
3. Select a channel
4. Select a directory to save the files
5. Do other settings if wished
6. Press the magic button to download stuff

This release contains the executable Discord Media Loader.exe and all required libaries. You may unzip it somewhere.

Enhancements

• Added option to change to online state. Notice: discord orders your online states: invisible < dnd < idle < online. You can only switch your state to another state which is >= your current online state you have set in your real discord client. Don´t ask why, but discord just rejects to set it to another state than those. Also notice: Your real discord client will not show that manually set state, but others will see it. If you close the tool, it will toggle back to the state you see inside your discord client.

Known bugs

• May have problems when downloading an attachment and connection is broken or closed
• UI tends to lag and appear unresponsible if there are 0 download jobs. It just is slow, add a first job (or more) and restart it.
