I'm not the best guy editer of the forum, but it maybe help for somes beginners or somes want to edits.
1st method
FIRST of all:
Download TheGimp, and the .dds plugg-ins:
SECOND step:
Open gimp, go in file's tab,Click Open,go in conquer folder,c3,effect/texture, and search the file you want mod(you can find them fast with this
or go for search an effectI repeat, it's for go faster, you can find them manually with gimp by 1 click on them for see the images.
3rd step:
Ok, now i show you my first method, take the magnifying glass and click on the image for see the details,after that, take the manual cut for cut around the part you want mod it will seems like something like that:
4th step:
Take the brush,choose a color you want the blade has, downgrade the opacity to like 55,0(you can put your own opacity just play with the bar
).And hold left click and past onder your manual selection, something like this:
5th step:
Do it to all your image(i did it really fast just for show how so is not really good) and after that, go see happen on the game =)
2nd method(i stop after this one cause i'm bored xD):
it's the most simple method you imagine xD, just click on the Color's tab, Color... and playy with the 3 bars(1st=color,2nd=more black to more colored,3rd=luminosity):
