- it is a file format in which you can open .dds files in photoshop without converting. It can also save files to .dds format.
Here's a guide to install .dds plugins for your Photoshop:
1. You need the .dds file which is attached to this post
2. You need to extract to file in your Adobe Photoshop main folder in my case i used Adobe Photoshop CS2 so I will place the plugins in C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins\File Formats
3. Last part is to Open you Photoshop then try to go File>Open and below the file option look for .dds
if you can see .dds in the file option that means you can open .dds files and also save .dds files. Here's the file attached.

With this plugins you can open .dds files without converting which in the other guides says, just is more fast and easy.
