@Opale, I have a PVP Server atm, it's just a cruddy LOTF Source, but I'm just using it to test my .dds edits, thanks for the guide 10/10, if you want to test your edits on my server while it's still in test phases, msg me and I'll hook you up with the network and client.

If you make the model shorter, add icons and play with several effect files, it's a really cool weapon to play with

No, I stopped using those old effect files since the newest ones are way more interesting

Just get every new weapons phase ones and 130+ ones, Alpha channel : Make invisible all those weapon textures and study each effect.
Try to get what each .c3 is exactly doing, and start picking up files and composing your effect, based on your weapon shape and color.

And when you obtain a complete and not to plain or overloaded, you're done

We are too limited.

The .c3 plugin was originally made for Eudemons, and I guess the animations and effect structure or w.e is different with Conquer, in a way it won't export correctly custom effects from 3ds to .c3 for Conquer

The only stuff we can do is Autokey animations with only two keys
( Correct me if i'm wrong )

EA: - Moving an object from a point A to a point B, straight
- Enlarges OR diminishes an object

( Rotation effects are messed up, somehow )

We can combine those two effects but still.. it's way less interesting than trying to compose an effect from TQ files

Ea: You can see the floating rocks are messed up at the transition, 2 keys animation is not enough to make something decent =x

Was thinking about weapon creation in general, than you can use as many animation keys as you want ofc.
