[Question] Custom Maps & Edits

Hi ElitePvPers,

To expand my development skills i've been setting up and customizing an oldschool Conquer Private servers which i still had on my backup disk since late 2011.

I know, its a ****** source, but its kinda fun to try a bit with C#, will be using better written sources later when i've developed my skills a bit better.

Only now, i've got a question, are there any tools and guides around on this forums on how to create a new custom map for Conquer?
I don't want to use any of TQ's other game maps like CrazyTAO (which i found on teh forums already), but would like to create some custom maps from ground!

Is it even possible and can you guys help me on the way a little bit?
I checked out lots of guides on the forum, but could not find what i'm looking for!
