Hmmm just used a pencil or brush thats why it has no texture just 2 flatout colors :/

But its only ur 3rd edit.

Use Filter or maybe lower density of Brush so it isnt just one color but also shows background a bit.

Or make the texture with a pattern with Blending Options or do it with lines
