Thumbs up [GUIDE]Before posting read this

Okay, there is alot questions going around.
They of course deserv help.
But how much help?
Well, I think is on time they learn about, when they should get helped and when they deserv it.

What do you need to do first?
As this section have alot to do with programming. If it's c#, c++, c, php etc. Then you should learn some things about the stuff you are going to use. It will help you alot and it will help us alot, because then we actually can talk same language. (language?). Then you understand the things we actually are talking about, some things can not just be done with being a dog and follow everything. You have to do some things self.

What about if I have tried to learn, but couldnt?
Then you have at least gived it a try. You deserv some help, as long you are still willing to learn.

When should I ask questions or ask for help?
When you have tried to put some effort into your work. You should not just ask, because you are lazy. It will just show you only think on being done with your server and actually don't care about the work. Thats what alot peoples think. Setup dosn't take 1day. It takes weeks, months all after how you want it. Those servers who have putted most effort into their work have also been most populare.
Also you should not ask for help or questions, if haven't tried use the greatest thing on earth. "The Search Button". If you haven't tried to get a solution, then why should we do everything for you?
We are not ur mom, remember that. Also I dont think your mom is doing everything for you, right? Your still cleaning up your room self etc. If not, then you should grow up and get more mature.
Welcome to the real life.

When should I not post?
If you are going to flame, then you should not post anything.
Also you should not post in a thread, if you haven't readed the title + main post. You should read it before you actually post in the thread, else is hard to post on topic, cuz you have no actual knowledge about whats going on.
Also if it is a release and you dont know how to setup, then you should not post before you have tried find a solution for it or actually looked into the work. Is always a good idea to that. Also try to search for any other setup thats made for it and see if they worked.

When should I thank a post?
You should always thank the posts you like or posts that helped you, because then you show you give some feedback. Writing thanks does nothing, because the persons thanks dosn't goes up for that. If a member have a high thank count, then peoples might think his helpful and will maybe look his posts, threads. If is low, then peoples just think he got some random thanks for simple posts.

When should I report a person and how don't I break a rule?
When the person is posting in the wrong section, wrong place or if the person is posting things thats off topic. Also if the person is insulting in anyway that is unaceptable. Well all after all, just if they break rule. Now don't be selfish and think (It dosn't stand in the rules Im not allowed to do this). Just because it dosn't stand in the rule, dosn't mean is allowed. Try be mature enough to think by your self. Is like (It dosn't stand in the manual I can't put my cat into the dishwasher). **Cat die**. Of course it dosn't stand in the manual you can't put a cat in there, but serious who would do it? Now you think no one would do it, but is actually right. Some peoples do it. Because they are to incompetent to realize anything about reality.

Peace ^^

Was just tired of any question can be found in 5 minutes.
every thread gets a flame.
serious, whats the point?

so I want to make a guide thsoe who don't understand how to do things.
So they understand, but they are probably just gonna post a flame to me, cuz they realize they actually was in some of the points.

I understand that this thread was made under the premise that it would help users, but your spelling, diction, and sentence structure is too much of a burden for me, as well as others, to bother reading your material with the careful eye it deserves, although it is likely that it will receive little attention anyways. Perhaps you or a friend who is better at English could manage to make it better than it already is. Besides for a few additions such as the thanks button, you could link to, paraphrase, or quote from this article (which may better your "guide"): . It is quite possibly the most advance and carefully written piece on asking questions.

Is English your first language? If not, then what is? Perhaps in addition, you should post in your primary language, as it may help those who know it as well, to understand you more clearly.
