Ok I have just noticed that my [PM] are no longer [PM] and they should be? Tried /accounts in the console and checked and it said they are still [PM] but I can't do any commands and it does not even say [PM] above my char?

Hi! I've been working on a PS for 4 days now; using a couple of tutorials i managed to make it go online; but when i try to log in it just says: "Failed to open the server.dat file. please reinstall the game." simple enough it tells me how to fix it; but i don't have a way of installing something i never installed. anyone here know how to fix this error?

You have made a mistake in your server.dat

i have evrything but can some one help me with this problem?? When i made an account and named the character and evrything it says for me to relog but when i relog it asks me to create a character again with the account i just used ot make someone for example Account:testing Password:tester after i do that it asks to choose a profession. i pick ninja name him then it says relog. when i relog it goes back to me creating a character HELP MEEEE

Ive figured out how to put the files into the (C: ) drive thing and this is what happens still...

And pls dont be mean cuz of voice IM 10 yrs old

Hi all,

I know this post is rather out of date but i need some help please.

I have changed the Config file and debug starts but as it is about to load maps i get a "stopped working" error any ideas on the cause iv been through all i can immediately think of.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you give us more details other than "stopped working"?

We can't really help you from your limited amount of details on the error

Okay so I'm new to the whole pserver scene. Dumb question I'm sure but how do I get rid of theses dam cow's/Bull's and put peasants back in? My noob attempt
was to go into c:\OldCODB and edit Mobinfo.txt and erase the line about bull's/cow's. That was major fail had to restore the file. Then tried to delete the same basic line in Mobspawns.txt Another epic fail. Maybe you guys can maybe point a noob in the correct direction. Thanks in advance.

Go in MobInfos.txt, search for this line:

1 Cow 1 235 1 33 0 0 0 5 6 1 36 2 True 2 1 50 1000 12 True

Change it to:

1 Pheasant 1 312 1 33 0 0 0 5 6 1 36 2 True 2 1 50 1000 12 True

Okay I figured out what I was doing wrong. I was leaving a blank line in the mobspawns.txt file. Thanks for the help.
