I recommend against loading all dmaps, most dmaps you will never use and thus literally waste your memory.

How idiot can some people be!? You dont need the entire dmaps loaded to have a fully working server(doubt someone will, except Qo or Inf). Just load the maps you really need.

read & set unwalkable/walkable coordonates, if its surface or what ever . so, if you have a proper dmap processor, you should have no monsters walking on walls or items on bad coords
EDIT: dmaps are used by tq to write their maps, not a bmp or what ever, however some ppl figure it out how to make own dmaps(of course Sparkie is one of them) so, in like 1 month(i hope) e*pvpers will have their own dmap.
