I had a problem with gameserver.exe when i debug in c# , login server works fine.

Is MQSQL installed?
(Go to CMD and type mysql, if you get accepted don't bother with this)

You have no MQSQL password. Or didn't you enter it?
The error states the connection to your database is null, no connection!
I think you forgot to enter the password.
Just make sure its exactly like the logging server.

nope, the fix is this:

It will error after like 1 hour probably, but thats ur problem.

I thought that was just the fix for line 30? I cant read spanish so cant see what the error is

Ready, now gameserver works fine!

The problem was this line (Min Pool Size = 300; Max Pool Size = 900"

ok so I've finished reading the first 30+ pages of the thread and I've heard it mentioned a few times but never fully answered.


I have gone through the source code and it is all running fine, I have tried 2 different edited .exes/server.dats and edited them multiple times. I still get the failed to connect to server error when I try to log into a character.

Game server AND login server are running with no errors, I have checked ips and server name like 20 times and they all appear to be right, as I said I tried 2 diff exes and server.dats posted in this thread both with same results.

Game Server says Ready for commands

Login server loads everything ok

Mysql is working fine, I added an account (username only, no password as all the guides have said) and yet still getting the same problem.

Ip I'm using is 127.0.0.1, I've tried using my own server name and CoEmu servername (default) both in server.dat and in the source, both get the same results.

Any ideas people? So far source looks quite good from what I saw in the database/source, nicely organized and looks like it has lots of potential... just cant get my **** char in lol.

Nvm fixed it, I think I ****** something up in the original source, I copied sections of the original back into it and it works now. Source looks good, cant wait till I have time to work on it.

if anyone has problems logging in like frozen or "cant connect to gameserver" check out my guide to fix it..

His Guide didnt help me. im still having the login sit there loading.
Wandering if anyone could help me 1-on-1 i have a vent server so easy
to talk with less typing and more understanding ya know.
if you can help me get it running.

Follow my guide on login freeze above BUT DONT Change the name of the server in the server.dat until i figure it out... Then it will work

i have a new problem its hamatchi atm i done want hamatchi and my freind cant connect i teamveiwered him and changed server.dat ima keep tryin but login server keeps telling me his connection timed out

tryed every ip hamatchi, his himatchi, my main ip, my router, idk kinda just playing around with stuff slowly learning.
