Ok, so I've found a lot more updated versions for this source, which is going to save a lot of work, but tons is still needed. I have a big list of stuff to do, and just working to learn more and more to get it done faster. If anyone is interested in helping in developing a better source in the near future (I'll probably be starting it in a few weeks tops). Visit this . It's not my forum, but has a small group still interested in getting this source somewhere good, and hopefully with a few good people we can.

TheCOServer.exe wont open what should i do

So I am following this guide and it works up to the point were I want to log in. I get Error:Connection interrupted blah blah

I have it saying server successfully started up etc, This is using Hamachi ip, I tried my ip and it never starts up (do I need to forward any ports for my ip to work and not use hamachi)

I wouldn't be sure what to tell you. I myself don't use Hamachi, and I have a router. However, it's an expensive router, and has port forwarding. In my case, all I do is use my internal IP, which you can find from playing games like Age of Empires, C&C, etc... through a Lan game. I'd say give that a shot. Mind you, I haven't attempted to let anyone onto my server yet, I'm still trying to work out some issues with this source, as well as figure out how to script it better (new features).

anyone help me with this my computer/ Micr$oft is a kunt. I try to open the "the coserver" exe to start server but I get access error saying I may not have w/e.. This also has happened for WPE witch is same programme type. I use windows xp and I dont know what to do Also dont know if this may have anything to do with it I thinki not but I have installed creative element power tools??

To everyone wondering about this guide, THROW IT OUT!

Im Zane Blalock, i was left in charge of the last most updated part of the source... which this is butcher of the source. Currently im not a good coder... which is why i wonder why i was left in charge of the source... non the less, a team to begin development on this source again will be constructed in December.

To compensate for this, I may create a guide on my forums or on the old project team forum... Dont know yet...

Anyways you should stop using this guide. So far we have done a little work on my personal source "KoS Source" we have day and night... whether or not i post the server to open for playing or i dont know.

last time we did it do many people complained about the unfinished features and systems. And with non working mobs thats a real bordem for the people.

try a better source...

i dont use this one, this is only a butchered version of the source the team i was in was developing...

cant help ya really... well actually i can say this:

1. make sure you have the rights (on your computer) to run programs...
2. make sure you dont have any firewalls, scanners, or w.e blocking the program (I.E. windows defender, nortan virus scanner <--- these are SOME of the programs CZZC Inc use, and they make sure EVERY program that access local/private IPs... or anything dealing with ips and my internet is safe)
3. Make sure you're not using vista...
4. Make sure you dont have a supid computer
5. Make sure yon dont have aids...

I thought this was just hadeset stripped, when samehvan started editing it, there was a lot already precoded... a lot more than the one uploaded in this thread has.

non the less dosnt matter xD.
