We at Legacy Conquer are here to re-write the failed, sordid history of 2.0 and ideally give the community a new memory of early 2.0 unencumbered by 'buy now pwn today' greed. So here is the short of it.

Features:

Gameplay:

A healthy mix of 1.0 game play and 2.0 functionality.
4x mob spawn multiplier
3x experience multiplier
Max level 130-130
Max +9
Original 1.0 classes
No BP or CP
Low drop/mining rates
Gold economy in game

Quality of life/VIP options:

AutoTG logs character with clientless bot and continues TG actions
Autostore logs character with clientless bot and continues market stall
Automine drops trash ores while mining
+1 notification - only notifies of a +1 drop - not its name or location
teleportation functions from vip book
remote warehouses with 100 slots (remote wh vip, 100 slots free)
remote repair
entering TG sends you to your level stake (v4)
sell inventory option to sell trash items to npc for gold
clear items option to clear inventory
NO dragonball, meteor, or item sales for VIP or cash

Discord integration:

notifiers of autoTG / Automarket setup/disconnect
item sold notifier from game to discord
query linked accounts experience from discord
speak to game server through discord and vice versa
developed role attributes for guilds - auto role applied when joining in game guilds (v4)

Client: Much newer 2.0 client than commonly used packed full of features

Custom RSA key pairing
Newer packet stuctures
early 2.0 era itemtype with newer garments added
native 4k display support
native full screen / custom resolution resizing
moveable dialogue tiles
quick selling of items alt+click
stackable items
in game hotkeys such as I for inventory - can change natively in client
Unlocked FPS - for high end rigs only - no cap currently
Multiclient launcher launches n number of clients at once
Disable the creation of non 1.0 classes; 2.0 flash creation yet to be changed

Source:

Custom written by myself in C# with the aide of EliteMagus/Argaman keeping me focused beginning in late 2016. Currently working on v4 re-write of core systems and bugs. v4 optimizes the source and applies a new plugin system which I will use to run everything from NPCs to items in a modular fashion. I'll be filling the source with events that I had back on Acid CO once I complete the plugin system for tournaments. Likely will allow players to level off of events much like I did in Acid.
This is the most complete source I have ever and will forever have written, using official Eudemons and 5065 binary resources to reverse packets, actions, rates. Including references to other works I've assisted with in the past to verify correctness.

Updates/Support:

Developed daily; operating 'Live' server AKA Legacy Conquerv3 where players play and 'Live Development' server Legacy Conquerv4 where bug fixes are written in and tested for it's future release.
Supported by Ryee Whiskee of TQ fame; whom prompts myself or Argaman to support matters we're not active for. We all know I'm a dick so don't bother me directly please, I'm busy go through Ryee/Argaman.

Community:

Ran by Argaman and Ryee - we have collected a large and organized following on discord of both veteran players from severs like Dragon, Lion, Ruby and Elite PVP members whom we've either worked together or known of each other for years.
It's a little home away from home, I often team view my development for a few others here whom are making their own servers - or not - so they say .

The server is live now for a period of time for an open beta process - we felt it imperative to have the voice of the community a part of the development BEFORE release. Ultimation and I are working daily (usually USA Eastern AM) to introduce more systems to the source. We don't see this release as being ahead of ourselves - though there are still bugs to locate and fix. Barring some classes our testing team simply haven't touched yet (who plays warrior?) we feel that we are well past 85% with base systems in place.

What we get out of this beta - So far, we are low on testers. Goose and myself have been having a hard time keeping Ultimation sufficiently busy - giving him too much free time to go party - booze - and get girls. We can't have that around here. I run a tight ship yanno? Also; we want a window of time to propose our plan for Legacy 2.0 and for the players to have enough time to make their decisions. Some of you are on other games - some of you are on other servers.

What the community gets out of the beta - As long term player myself - i know how valuable the new server experience can be - and how often times it takes some work to recall your pals and get them excited about a new experience. I also know as a server hopper - how excited you can be about a pserver and think everything is hunky-dory until a few weeks later when you learn that the GM is a **** waffle and he's shoveling his friends dbs through the back door...... **** THAT.

TL/DR? So - though servers have been released way less effective and intact - we want to launch as 'open beta' and give it some time let everyone congregate - share opinions - bug test a little better than our skeleton crew could - and then we will do a timed launch giving players the chance to fresh-start like the good ol' days.

Our rates will begin as 1x and likely settle on/around 1.5x with additions requested by the community as far as rewards are concerned with events, arena and later on mentor system being a part of the source. As always - there are higher rewards available for participation and cooperation.

Edit: currently for testing the rates are raised somewhat - significantly for 1x standards.

Good luck with the server and hope it is successful, quiet rare to find owners that actually care about there players unlike these so called wanna be classic servers.

1x rates with perks for participation in events and such. We are using official databases as our resource. (means that we didn't take a stab in the dark - we have the rates from CO 2.0 as it should be)

NYC is location of host

As noted above and from our website (where the copy pasta was from) we do intend to do a post-beta (pre-launch) wipe. - earlier if we can get more early adopters to push the beta through.

While we haven't completed the shopping mall - currently it contains the following items : DB, Meteor, EXP pot, ninja amulet, black tulip, prayer stones and gourd.
We have removed + stones entirely from the game - players will have to find +1 items and compose them. +n items will never be given as prizes.

There will be no item generation of any kind - if you break your gear - you have lost it - if you drop you gear - you have lost it, if you share your account and another player takes your gear - you have lost it.

Staff players are not protected by superior gear but instead by command systems like '*** mode'. (same for testing - staff tests with additional damage - not superior weapons or level)

I know some of you may be timid to join us in this introductory period; for those of you overseeing this post and sitting back thinkin' 'Yeah i've heard this before': it's day 4 of our open beta development - with a team of 5-7 testers now we have made great strides towards launch. We'd like to thank the EPVP community and the participants so far. Today we are able to clear away the pending bugs list and continue to work on adding more systems in such as housing, arena, events etc.

We are right on schedule with our release hopefully august. This date is not solid - but ideal. It would be beneficial to get more opinions and testing done - we welcome any newcomers that would like to join in our development.

Development hours are between 7AM and 1pm USA eastern - though we've been known to pop in and handle things as late as 8pm.

Our community hangs out in discord - a link can be found on our website. Yes I know our website is basic and not currently SSL - we're not too worried about the art right now - but SSL is on our list ofc.

You guys are doing a great job. The communication between us testers and you developers couldn't be better, bugs are being fixed very fast and it's fun to be a part of it! I hope this is going to be a big success after it's official launch.
