First, let me just start off by saying I could list a million features like every other server does, but whats the point of that? Nobody cares about that feature list anymore with everyone saying "ARENA SYSTEM FIX 100%" and all that nonsense.
Let me start off by grabbing your attention with a video from our server from Dis City, our final boss of the event - Han Cheng:
Got your attention now? Great, now we can talk about features and what's different.
We value skill.
There's no pay to win on our server. Anything we offer that's obtained through donations purely only has cosmetic benefits or slightly influences player vs. environment, not player vs. player!
A gold only economy.
There are no Conquer Points. There are Campaign Points, and these are awarded from events (PvP and PvE), however they're a non-tradable currency that you can use to better your gear, and help you progress (level) in the world!
A difficulty factor to gear.
People aren't pulling out the +12s on day one of the server. In fact, we don't expect to see more than +6s for a very long time. You have to hunt for your gear, meteors, dragon balls just like you did in the good ol' days. A little bit of 1.0-esque if you will.
Weapon Diversity
It's not all about sword/club, blade/club or club/club anymore. We like weapon diversity, so should you. Sword Axe is just as viable as Blade Whip. Ever wanted to use a scepter? Well now you have a reason to, scepters lower the stamina cost of spells.

Gem Diversity
Lets face it, unless your leveling a spell or a prof. you pretty much only see DragonGem's and PhoenixGem's in Conquer (and I guess TortoiseGem's). We like the idea of diversity, so we're working on making all gems viable. Kylin gems are now life steal (read the next section), Fury gems are now critical strike, Moon we kept the same, and we're learning towards Violet being magic penetration. Notice that red stuff constantly popping up on archer in the video? Yeah, that's life steal. It's useful for PvE and PvP.
Potion Mechanics
We don't like the idea Conquer revolves around only one-hitting and two-hitting your opponent purely because they can spam potions as fast as they want. Potions now have a cool down. Fights are more drawn out. This mechanic allows us to better design fun environment events (like that boss!) and implement crowd control. Healing spells (like Cure, Nectar, etc.) scale off of M-Attack.

Crowd Control
Because of our changes to potions, we can do cool things like stuns, slows, reduced healing effects, binds, and so forth. Don't worry, there's going to be tenacity (a factor to reduce how long crowd control effects last).
A leveling system built around events.
There's always the good ol' grind way, but we want people to have some fun while they level up. It's our future plans that every map will have it's own unique boss (one as cool as the one in the video) and there will be tons of events going on (PVP and PVE)
