Hello guys im here to introduce our server called Black Prince. This is the only conquer online server that is available in Russian and English, and you can switch language with 1 click in game.
Wanted!
Advertiser (to attract more players);
Video-master (to create a cool teaser video).
Site is still under developement, but already you can read information, register, download and join us.
Our servers differs from other by it's idea: game is based on crafting, harvesting and gathering. You have to plant seeds to get a harvest and craft items.
In addition we have a custom professions system: there are two professions, each has 8 levels, to craft something you have to level up your profession first to get a recipes.
We have our own custom event, called Monster Invasion.
About all this you can read on our website.
Now let's review some important things.
Some screenshots are attached.
Main technical information:
- Auto-updater: no need to install patches manually;
- Dedicated server in Moscow, Russia, 100mb/sec, stable 99%;
- Server time: GMT+4 (Moscow time);
- Online 24/7, no disconnects, apart of time when we update server side code;
- Server side restart lasts 12 seconds only;
- Anti-clicker and anti-hacker system automatically sends to botjail [Beta];
Main game information:
Stage: - Beta-Test;
- Max level: 140;
- Max reborns: 2;
- 1 King and 3 Princes etc. due to low populations;
- All classes;
- Maps from new CO;
- Low rewards for events, due to low server population. As it grows, we will increase prizes;
- Scatter and triple monk/pirate hits levels your weapon profiency a bit;
- Reborns can be bought from shopping mall, you have to work for it - for the first reborn you have to complete all trainer quest, or mine a celestial stone, or buy a celestial stone from players; For second reborn you have to buy token from players, or receive two tokens for a long-run quest.
Our unique features:
- Game available in two languages: English and Russian. You can choose language for system messages, NPC dialogs and other. What you can't do, is to change client pictures, that are currently in russian. But we will turn them to english, if we will have more foreign players;
- Custom nationality flags;
- Players from different countries;
- Custom trainer and daily quests with prizes;
- Our own professions system, craft;
- Our own harvest system;
- Stakes and Scarecrows are in Twin City;
- Items for quests and for craft;
- Stack system - almost all items can be stacked up to 2000 items in stack, that's why we don't have met scrolls and db scrolls;
- First and second socket can be opened with mets or dbs by Artisan Wind. To make a 100% socket for a drill or for dbs you have to be level 8 Jeweler profession;
- P4 and P5 Souls start from level 70, P6 soul from 120. That means you can start wearing powerful souls from level 70, not 120.
PvP information:
- Battle power plays no role in PvP-damage. It only affects things like Monk's Ghost Chains for example.
- Nobody hits you 0 or 1, either monster or player. There's always a small damage like 12 or 16 from any hit.
- Pots can be used only once in 5 seconds. Skills to win, not pots;
- Redname drops 1-2 items on ground (still not sure about it, we had a detain system but removed it for now to see what players will say);
- If killed by player, you will drop items from inventory. Died from monster - will drop items only after level 70;
- Pirates get 5 pkp instead of 10.
PvE information:
- Fast leveling to 120 no matter of reborns and reincarnations (fast doesn't mean x50 rates, it's just like a couple of hours from 118 to 120);
- Monsters drop items, custom items, quest items, stones +1 to +3, rare items, craft ingredients, all items from shopping mall.
Donate and Shopping Mall information:
Of course we have a donations, what private server doesnt? And i would have lied if i said we don't accept donations. Yes, we accept and donations are welcome, but in our server you can't be on top just because you paid money.
From the beginning, our goal was preventing donators to be way more powerful to simple players, so it would be interested for everyone, especially as we know alot of players prefer play for free.
Donate information
When some people donate, they not always want to get something for it. Some people donate just to help pay for a server and to implement new things. But for 2 monthes of our online there was just 2 such players.
We never sell levels or reborns, no matter how player will offer, coz this project is a hobby and we don't want it to be ruined.
Shopping Mall information
As stated above, we present only cps for donations. Shopping mall contains such items, as random soul pack, random garment pack, seeds for harvest, random ingredient pack (for craft), and steeds.
We want players to work for their levels, and items, not to buy it for donations.
Yes, you can buy seeds and grow +n stones from it. But it's an open map, and anyone can kill you or just steal your harvest. Plus, when you put your seed in earth, there's a server message for that, and stones can be grown only in one place on server. So, fun and not easy.
Gameplay information
Our server stands for craft and work. Players have to craft such items, as potions, exp balls, exp potions, drills and much much more.
Our server based on professions. Without having a professional level, you will not be able to mine, bless your gear or purify an equipment (and much more).
Our server based on trades: when someone creates a 8000 potion stacksize 2000, he takes 500 and sells 1500 to get ingame money for more ingredients.
Our server is free. You can work and get everything. And in the same time, you can't donate and have everything, as we have items that never sold, but can be only crafted or dropped from monsters or bought from other players.
Our server stands for mining. Yes, you can't buy gems from mall, you have to craft them, or mine, or buy from players. And to mine, you have to be a Jeweler.
All items from shopping mall are dropped from monsters. Not too often, but sometimes.
Polite NPCs dialogs.
Events
We have 1-2 events every day, and all of them are different and without repeats. We have events to be announced every day twice a hour, so you will not miss it.

And currently we working on other custom events, basically the ones that conquer online or pservers never had.
VIP accounts information
Everyone can buy a VIP6 account(only vip6, we don't have other VIP levels) for ingame money for a limited period of time - from 1 day to 1 year.
VIP6 is called Premium Account in our server.
Premium account features
Better exp rate
Can take 1 free exp pot for 15 min once a day
Offline training
Remote WHS, remote repair etc
More stamina for 50%
Possibility to revive in place of death
Gold from killed monsters goes directly to your inventory
Only premium accounts can see other players' equipment.
Nobody can buy premium account for a lifetime.
Things we don't have and reasons
Jiang Hu - with profession and craft system, we don't need it.
Thrilling Spook - wasn't needed yet.
Forging (don't know if it's same to Jiang Hu but the reason is same)
New TQ custom skills creation system - never interested in it and at the moment we don't need it in our server.
Other new TQ features - same reason.
House system - making our own house system, different from what TQ has.
Things we have, but disabled them, and reasons.
CHI - low server population, some players can be overpowered;
Subclasses - same reason;
Rare Steeds - no need in them for now
Steed garments - due to low server population
Demon bosex - no need in them at the moment
In our server, we respect all nationalities. Everyone is welcome to play. We never allow racism or anything else in chat.

Yea about backlink i want to ask not to delete because elitepvpers means nothing for russians, so if any russian will click epvp it will mean nothing for him... i can do it though if this is really bad needed

If you turn this into an English based private server I can see enough people joining it.
Bigger playerbase, nothing against Russians.

Starting from tomorrow we will be making this in english as well as in russian. So there will be two types of NPC dialogs then.

Why not get their geopgraphical locations from their IP addresses?
If their IP is located within Russia, have the NPC use Russian, otherwise use English.
Same goes for system and GM messages.
It shouldn't be terribly difficult.
Would require a bit of re-working on the server side.
If it was me, I would add a boolean to the player, and at login initialize it to true if they are to get Russian dialog, or false if its English.
Then just use that boolean for each dialog the player is to receive.
Even create a NPC so they can freely choose between the two if they want to also.
Just a suggestion.
Server looks good though.

Actually, the client has something just for languages. In packet 1052 when connecting to the game server, the client sends a two character code for the client's default language. You can edit that by editing the string resource file. I would give you more details, but I'm on my phone.

Yea, that's what we are doing. Not the geo thing though, coz some players play from work and use different kind of proxy to play the game. It will be a message box(when you login for the first time or smth) asking if you want english dialogs or not.

Yes, they had russian client like 2 or 3-4 years ago, unfortunately nobody of us could find it in the internet(in time) and... it was a bad translation anyway, we've found it, when work was already done. It was like ... if you use google translate or smth. So we decided to make it 'unique'. It was painful to work with dds files, so the result is not brilliant, but still looks good (you can see black spots around top menu buttons).
Some things weren't translated, like player halos or nobility pictures above the players, we just could not find how to do it lol We also could not find a way to make russian nicknames - client did not allow it and was giving a message about invalid characters in name.
Making client back to english will take like 5 seconds.
Dialogs were created to show new players how to play and so on... so i think we will translate just the important parts. Everyone knows how to jump or how to enlarge game window and use hotkeys, as we focused on players who runs this for the first time.
Making all this should not take longer than 2 days.
I will keep this thread updated.
Translation 80% done, i will update first post and write here how to start.
Tomorrow i think it will be ready.
I dont think we will be translating monster names though, everyone knows where to find tomb bats or pheasants, and what they look like so... and items will be like that: RussianItemName(EnglishItemName), like Moskva(Moscow)
So will be convenient for everyone. Same for item description and items from shopping mall.

I agree with the above posts saying that you should consider translating most features into English. You will get more people joining your server as it sounds pretty good.

Nice, this is the amazing stuff I want to see on advertisement.
Though it would be sad if this was taken from my project, I doubt that is the case though.
So we both share the love to the creative idea of having the world revolve around craft/ingredient -> Marketing.
And yeah, you should probably get a person to translate it all. You can make a server-based function to load all dialogues in russian or english.
