At first i thought, finally i found an old CO server and can enjoy playing it.. but when i logged....... i mean seriously? DBs dropping every 5 seconds says the system chat.. rates 3x who the F wants that? people running with crappy gear (hell yea!) but they have sockets.. wtf????? i don't see this as something normal. Anyway i'm disappointed.. thanks for the server.. goodbye
hmm....well it drops every 5 seconds if 100+ players hunt at once... normally there should be 1 db every 20 minutes...(per char)...so it's not very easy but not too hard...i find it middle rated...but that's just my opinion

in old CO it was like a few dbs each day per server..
yeah well that's true too but there are only a few players that want low rates...and ppl don't want to waste 6 months to get some decent gears (again)
for those that don't like waiting there are lots of servers where you get drops of gold,cps,dbs..
but the beauty of old co is that it's hard to lvl and gain gears, not only for you, but for everyone. That's fun! running a lvl 40 character with refined gears and battling others ~same!

Yea but who still wants that? A private server could close any moment and woops... there goes your character.

It's up to the community to keep a server alive in the end. The only reason it would close would be if noone played.

Small application i created, Basically its for people who want to run a private server and they have a dynamic IP and because Conquer doesn't accept hostnames such as (No-ip.org) i have created this. It simply gets the hostname from config.ini and gets the ip address then writes the ip address to server.dat then runs conquer.
How to use:
Open config.ini,
1. Edit the darkviper.servegame.org to your hostname (etc blahblah.no-ip.org)
