The way I remember it is you scan memory values of the client, take damage and scan again. One of the values that changes will be Health (of course other values WILL change... so do it a few times to narrow down your results).
Shouldn't take very long to do at all.
Do some searching, I guarentee you there is lots of tutorials on finding memory addresses using cheatengine/similar programs.

Actually I think there are some calculations you have to do to output the correct HP amount.
The address itself wont be encrypted, but the value might be. I can't remember though.
If you guys know where to get a copy of SirHooks v0.01 source code you should check that out. Don't look there for a memory address, obviously the 'pattern' has changed since then, but if there is any kind of math to return hp it should be in there.
