everyone recommended learning asm to enchant my RE skills recommending art of assembly
yeah it's a hell of a book, pretty awesome but it always lose the focus of asm material, also it tends to use more custom HLA functions rather than using asm instructions
im half way through the book but i don't feel that im getting what i really want, they never discussed polymorphic codes or self modifying codes or protecting and packing or even pe files structure
so where would i find those explicitly explained, please recommend only from your experience with books because i can use google too but the last time it got me nowhere
The art of assembly is a great book, I`ve found lots of uses for it. As far as RE goes, you won`t really find much material, it`s kind of the black art of programming. I can definitely recommend you Lenas RE tutorials for ollydbg, or there was a book (IDK what the title was) with IDA Pro. It`s pretty much learning assembly and applying that to the Olly output, as soon as you understand that, it will be easy (but VERY time consuming, at least for beginners like me).

i've already done lena tutorials, always had problem at unpacking part but i've finished them like 3 times, i would love to check out that book, please lemme know it's name when you remember it
Why would an assembly book explain how the PE structure works? This doesn't really have anything to do with assembly, it's a Windows specific thing. You might want to take a look at the "Windows Internals" book or maybe article

We are aware of the fact that there is a fake "Infinite Resources" hack that causes this exact condition to occur. We know how this is accomplished, and we are also able to tell when this is what happened.
At this time there is no fix for this condition, and if you are experiencing it your yard will remain unplayable....
