gonna start learning how to code, help?
i wanna stop being a leecher, any idea where i can start?
was wanting to figure out how to decrypt server.dat files but cant seem to figure it out

Thats a massive jump, u should start w/ some basics first. By googling assembly language & trying to understand some (look at some examples). As well as starting off w/ that "Hello World!" program in a language of ur choice (probably start w/ c/c++), use google for that too.
To decrypt server.dat you wanna look inside the Conquer.exe and work out how Conquer.exe decrypts it, then apply reverse engineering to convert it into similar C code. To do that your gonna need some assembly language programming knowledge.
High6 is the only guy i know who has made a decryptor for that. (One with drag and drop, you drag your .dat file into the program and it makes an unencrypted .txt file, and if you do it again it turns a .txt file back into an encrypted .dat file). Just use his?

I was thinkin about the same thing. I know up to about multi scripted arrays. Although im goin to college for this kinda stuff in the fall. So i will decide to make my own stuff when i get through it

Well there's no sticky for some guidance, yet people always seem to push other people to code it themselves.
Is it really easy? How much time would it take me to learn it from scratch to do something as "simple" as metallurgy? And like what methods would be best for today?
Or is this something that just happens to be a neat byproduct ability after taking a class in advanced computer programming or something?

Ok, I got spammed with people asking for guides, and here are some that can get everyone started. If they dont give you all the fulfillment you want, whisper me ive got more! Im still learning a lot, it took choco years, and he had to literaly stay away from the comp for 6 months (doctor's orders!) but ill help if I can!
To start out you should learn the C++ language. If you have some spare time while running COpartner, it shouldnt take but 2 or 3 days. You can find a good tutorial here.
