I just purchased a linux based vps. will i still beable to run my server on it?

You can run conquer on linux man. Use google before?

There's mono, theirs wine, there's all kinds of emulators for linux. You just have to dig around. You wont find a guide to running it, YOu have to figure it out yourself.

Wine is not an emulator (WINE)

I hope you all understand that he was talking about the server source and not the client. Server source, assuming it's written in C#, can be ran on Linux as Ian stated, C/C++ source can be ran if you have C/C++ compiler which compiles the program for Linux and I'm pretty sure Java source can be ran w/o any extra work.

There's no need for such a harsh language.

If it's about the source, Wine doesn't really help, because you can't install the .NET with Wine and expect to work just fine...(I've tried and it obviously didn't work). A 5017- source could be ran on Linux very easy with Mono.

I've been searching for a way to play CO2 on my linux HP labtop, I currently got a desktop as well but its pretty shitty, well its a good machine but its old. I recently got this labtop for my 360, but its got linux Ubuntu 9.4 on it. I'm not a complete n00b when it comes to computers. I'm using SuSE Linux 9.3 and currently using "gfsgl" to run conquer on my linux box. Id did run and initialized, it even patched but as it loadds the main window, it flags an error. The log looks like this: GFSGL 0.92.1 (White Doll)...
