Every-time my friend on my Pserver upgrades his item + to +12 it upgrades then when he puts it on it goes back to +9 and gives him back the +stone is there a way i can fix this guys ? im using CoSX source n looked all over for a fix for this which im not finding

i know this happen when you click something else when it is composing. Have you tested it after he tell you . it happens on many servers if you click a npc when it composing and compose box is open sometimes the + stay +11 and you get stone back if you click a new npc just befor it fin composed.i would say try and see what happens when you try.

Just correct the item upgrade packet to

A: Check if the item exists/is valid for composing (if not people can **** your server over)

B: remove the sub item

C: update the original item


It's really not super complicated but it's something that will require you to edit some decent sized sections of code in your composition code... I'd suggest doing some reading and stuff first as well as backing up your original code.
