Plus I didn't wanna look stupid cause I know it could have been done better.
Then why are you so unwilling to release the working packet structure? Its publically available to anyone with the time to find it. So why not post it and improve everyones chances of being able to enjoy conquer to the full.

Packet structure?
I used the one you posted and it worked perfectly o.O
The only thing I did was the command.

Sigh! So theres nothing wrong with it?

You didn't really help him.
You gave him a code, which is on the wiki as well, at least I tried to explain something, I can't help the fact that he is given us wrong facts.

Korvacs here is a working structure...

Code:
        public static COPacket WeatherPacket(Features.WeatherType Type, byte Density, byte Direction)
        {
            byte[] Buffer = new byte[24];
            COPacket packet = new COPacket(Buffer);
            packet.WriteInt16(16);
            packet.WriteInt16(1016);
            packet.WriteInt32((uint)Type);
            packet.WriteInt32(Density);
            packet.WriteInt32(Direction);
            return packet;
        }
Tested more than once and this is the right structure...
Direction == 255 for e.g everything goes <---
Direction == 140 everything goes --->
Direction == 0 everything goes without deviation

I've had it with you being a crappy moderator. I'm going to try my hardest with a group of people to get you stripped of your moderating powers. Arco would be such a better mod.

Your packet is wrong. The variable ranges you defined are completely wrong.

Delete this thread immediately.

Korvacs is a good Moderator, Unlike most of the people that were previously Moderators he actually does his job. The reason he refused to delete it is simple, the information contained in this thread isn't else were. therefore it it came up again, they could just be refereed to here,etc.

Haven a knowledgeable Moderator who actually knows what there doing is nice. Although Arco can be helpful, and a fairly nice guy. I do not believe he has the knowledge required to be a Moderator. Part of a Moderators job is helping people, and answering questions. If it came down to it, would he really be able to do it?

#Off-topic abit:

It amazes me it has taken 6 threads to get a simple Weather system working.

Spirits, why would you request deletion when this could help other people in the future, you've basically asked for code off people then request that they don't reveal it to the public.

That's a fail on your part sir.

I'm not the one with a stop sign for a hand.
I'm not saying that. According to everyone, the packet was already released.
This thread has no further purpose.
Korvacs is only keeping this thread open to use to edit his stupid wiki.
Get it yet? and if you can't tell, I don't like Korvacs... or any of the moderators on this forum.
(Except Mio). They're all the worst mods I've ever seen. 4botters has better staff.

Well I searched in the past and had no luck finding such packets.

This thread has no further purpose to you perhaps, however to the rest of the people here who dont have weather implemented its quite invaluable.
