Download the new client in the stickied thread.
I also had this problem and it was because I didn't have a clean client.
Go to the last page 2nd to last page of the thread and .Arco posted a link to the clean client with cracked conquer.exe.

its doing what it used to do for guard when they didnt appear.
LT count stops when u try 2 activate the spell.
it does not look like its a client issue but i will try! hopefully thats all it is.
